STARTING AT HIGH SPEED! FROM COMMERCIAL AUTOMOTIVE TO FORMULA 1 INNOVATION
Established in 2010, we launched our activities collaborating with the automotive industry, designing and developing a custom-made 3.2kW DCDC converter for one of the first mass-produced passenger EV. This project served as the foundation for our know-how in digitally controlled converters for embeded applications.
Fast-forward three years, the forthcoming Formula 1 technical regulations introduced for the 2014 season an hybrid powertrain with a V6 turbo motor and a full 800V battery and system. This was door into Motorsports applications with one of the best F1 team, with the design of DCDC converters where every single gram is highly valued, in extremely harsh environment.
FORMULA E AND BEYOND
Building on our F1 experience, we embraced the challenge of Formula E. Our DCDC converters earned us the role as the supplier of 7 out of 11 teams on the 2nd generation Spark SRT 05E cars. Advancing to our next generation of converters, we further cemented our position as the exclusive supplier for all teams by 2022 on the Spark Gen3.
But we aimed for MORE! And by MORE we meant expanding our portfolio to include clients from ExtremeE, eTCR, E1 Seabird, Hybrid Dakar cars, INDYCAR and LMDh category in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. We now stand proudly in our 5th generation of DCDC units, recognized as a technological leader in motorsport with zero defects on tracks throughout all generations of converters.
THE HYPERCAR FRONTIER
Bolstered by our extensive experience and positive outcomes, we entered the exclusive, demanding and ultra-performance realm of hypercars. Since 2021, our DCDC units have operated as a key factor to the promise of outstanding driving performance shaped by power-dense and ultra-lightweight DCDC converters. Once again, a successful and relevant collaboration attesting to our ability to innovate and adapt to the most diverse applications has brought troughout the world, from Europe to the US, on the most iconic BEV and HEV hypercars.
