Multiverter : A Common Inverter/Converter hardware

BrightLoop’s HV Multiverter platform is based on a common hardware architecture used to develop a range of high-voltage power converters. From this shared technology base, dedicated products are designed for specific functions such as DC-DC convertor, AC-DC invertor, or Motor/Generator control.

At the core of this platform is BrightLoop's Modular channel topology. Channels are functionnaly autonomous unitary converters embedding all their components : power parts, LC filters, cooling, closed loop control, communication... They can be then used independently, or interconnected through internal busbars to create more sophisticated powerpaths. In the end, only software settings differs between use cases of independent bidirectional DC‑DC converter or AC‑DC inverters.

These multiverters are available in several configurations, with 4, 8, or 16 channels per enclosure, depending on the required power level. Under the hood, the latest generation wide-bandgap semiconductors — SiC for high-voltage stages and GaN for lower-voltage systems — enable compact, scalable and high-performance converters while simplifying development and manufacturing across the product family.

The BrightLoop software platform: master craftsmanship

The Multiverter architecture is managed by an advanced control system that coordinates each conversion module in real time. Every module integrates its own microcontroller to monitor operating conditions and distribute power efficiently across channels. When multiple modules operate together, a dedicated, highly robust and noise-immune communication layer synchronizes their behavior, enabling scalable and stable high-power systems, with no limitation in the number of copperating units. This software-driven approach allows the platform to adapt to a wide range of applications and operating conditions.
