Staad unveiled their latest innovation during Bauma 2025: a fully electric excavator built to meet the toughest demands of today’s construction sites, all while reducing emissions and operating more efficiently.
At the core of this machine’s performance is our high-voltage Multiverter DCHV LP. This compact and flexible power module enables smart and resilient energy management in multi-battery systems, a key feature in Staad’s new electric excavator.
The DCHV LP plays a central role in the excavator’s architecture by managing several battery packs independently. It ensures that power is always delivered efficiently, even if one of the batteries fails or becomes temporarily unavailable. Thanks to its active balancing capability, the batteries remain synchronized, which maximizes system uptime and prolongs autonomy.
This level of fault tolerance and flexibility allows Staad’s machine to operate seamlessly in real-world conditions where reliability is critical.
