BrightLoop + Glydways: Powering Next-Gen Urban Mobility
3 March 2026When Innovation Starts with Collaboration: BrightLoop and EPC Advancing HV-LV Power Conversion
High-performance power conversion is no longer just about selecting the right semiconductor. As electrified platforms become more demanding, achieving higher efficiency, greater power density, and improved reliability requires close collaboration across the entire power electronics ecosystem.
This is exactly the philosophy behind BrightLoop’s long-standing partnership with EPC (Efficient Power Conversion).
Together, our engineering teams have explored how enhancement-mode GaN transistors and advanced converter architectures can unlock new levels of performance for high-voltage to low-voltage (HV-LV) power conversion. From faster switching frequencies and improved transient response to reduced converter size and weight, this collaboration continues to push the boundaries of what modern power electronics can achieve.
Today, the results of this work can be found across BrightLoop’s HV-LV converter portfolio, serving demanding applications in motorsport, aerospace, off-highway vehicles, defense, and industrial electrification, where efficiency, robustness, and compactness are critical.
We’re proud to see this collaboration highlighted in EPC’s latest technical article, which explores how evolving electrical architectures are reshaping the role of DC-DC converters and why power conversion has become a true system-level engineering challenge.
We would like to thank EPC for this feature and for their continued partnership as we work together to develop the next generation of high-performance power conversion solutions.
