We are pleased to announce our collaboration with GENEVOS, a leader in developing green hydrogen solutions for maritime applications. The partnership marks our commitment to the development of hydrogen fuel cell power systems for the maritime industry.
Our collaboration began three years ago with a focus on the company’s range of low-medium power products, which are now in operation. Over the past year, GENEVOS – renowned for designing and manufacturing Hydrogen Power Modules (HPM) for vessels – has enjoyed a string of successes. These include the integration of its HPM into a support vessel for the world’s largest foiling yacht race, as well as a project to equip Venice’s first hydrogen-powered passenger vessel.
At the heart of these achievements lies a key contribution from BrightLoop. Our DCHV MP high-voltage converters offer the compactness and scalability GENEVOS requires for these low-medium power HPMs. They can integrate seamlessly into any fuel cell system architecture and be connected in parallel to attain any power level need.
“We are incredibly proud to support GENEVOS in leading projects that have a positive environmental impact,” said Florent Liffran, CEO of BrightLoop. “Through this partnership, our converters transition from concept to real-world maritime applications, which is a very rewarding experience for us.”
In addition, BrightLoop has undertaken comprehensive steps – including documentation review, design verification, prototype testing, and manufacturing process assessment – to obtain Type Approval certification for marine and offshore applications by Q2 2025.
